Department: Project Management Team

Reports to: Director of Water Projects

Location: Manchester, Hybrid

The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Project Management Team as we are seeking a dedicated professional experienced in managing water projects. This role is essential for overseeing water management projects effectively, ensuring they meet compliance and quality standards within the utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, execution, and completion phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Implement and monitor NAV for project tracking and financial management.
• Ensure all projects comply with Safety, Health, Environment, and Assurance (SHEA) standards, promoting safe work practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address any project challenges.
• Maintain all necessary project documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and availability for stakeholders.

Experience

• Extensive experience in water project management within the utilities sector.
• Proficiency with NAV for effective project management and financial oversight.
• SHEA Water experience and Blue Card qualification are mandatory.
• Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSTS) certification is preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities and excellent organisational skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
