The Opportunity
We are excited to invite applications for a proficient Business Development Manager with expertise in NAV and electrical systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding market presence by leveraging their understanding of IDNO (Independent Distribution Network Operator) and DNO (Distribution Network Operator) operations within the utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the utilities sector, focusing on projects requiring advanced electrical and NAV expertise.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Utilise an in-depth understanding of IDNO and DNO frameworks to provide strategic insights and solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project proposals from inception to successful completion.
- Lead negotiations and facilitate agreements, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and compliance standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging market opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
About You
- Proven track record in business development within the utilities or related sectors, emphasising electrical systems and NAV knowledge.
- Strong understanding of IDNO and DNO operations, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory frameworks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building lasting professional relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic business plans and execute them successfully in competitive environments.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable individual with strong leadership capabilities.
- Analytical mindset with robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
