The Opportunity
We’re looking for a confident, customer‑focused individual to take ownership of several high‑value commercial electricity, hot water and heating accounts within our private site portfolio. You’ll be the go‑to expert for your customers, trusted to manage the full billing journey, handle queries with care, and work closely with colleagues across our wider Energy team in Customer Operations.
We’re looking for someone who loves building great, lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders alike. The role requires an expert in producing clear, accurate and timely bills and the drive to manage their own customers with integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure monthly private network bills are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage the end-to-end relationship for key accounts, including site visits.
Handle complex enquiries received from your customers regarding bill value, meter reads etc.
Be responsible for day-to-day administration to improve data sets within your portfolio.
Understand and produce key performance metric (KPI’s) reports.
Investigate complex customer bills and provide clear outcomes for customers.
Work towards improving processes to deliver higher billing accuracy.
Work as part of a wider team to improve overall customer satisfaction.
Lead on and off site and virtual meetings with external stakeholders to build meaningful customer relationships.
Support on collection activities for your customer base when required.
About You
You are a billing expert with extensive knowledge of Utilities billing.
You have advanced Excel skills including pivot tables; with strong investigation/analytical skills and attention to detail.
You have knowledge of reporting.
You have the ability to learn and adapt with changing priorities.
You have a can-do attitude; providing support for high value customers.
You have great relationship management skills; building lasting relationships with your customers.
You proactively seek out missed revenue opportunities.
You are always on the lookout to do things better.
