The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Operational Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll support day-to-day operations by managing key industry processes and reporting, keeping data and systems up to date, and helping teams stay organised through effective mailbox and coordination support.

Key Responsibilities
General
Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies as required
Responsible for ensuring that all BOS activities align with UK SHE legislation, Leep's SHEQ policy and any regulatory license obligations
Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the department’s Table of Accountability (ToA) and RACI matrix
Promptly escalate issues using the correct channels and ensure resolution or acknowledgment
Participate in business risk reviews and feed findings into the broader Operations risk register
Support the budget-setting process within the Operations Directorate, including forecasting for asset growth, legislative changes, staffing and training needs
Support the ad-hoc day-to-day business needs associated with safe, technically robust, regulatory, legislative and efficient operations
Role Specific
Support the electricity side of this multi-utility role by maintaining accurate MPAN records across internal and industry systems, ensuring information is kept up to date and in line with market requirements
Process and support electricity market activities, including actioning industry dataflows and handling new electrical meter registrations, updates and de-registrations through MPRS, Infinity and ECOES, with a focus on accuracy and timely completion.
Carry out data cleanse activities across internal and industry systems to help ensure MPAN and metering records remain accurate, aligned and up to date, identifying discrepancies and supporting the correction of data where needed
Processing C2 plant enquiry requests for electric, water and heat networks
Processing CONS29 Drainage & Water Searches
Provide ad hoc support to the Operational Management Team as and when required
Monitoring of various mailboxes and distribution to the relevant department/s
Assist with the process of Points of Connection (POC) request within the Asset Management team
Support other functions within the Business Operations Support Team should the need arise in order to provide cover as and when required
About You
Excellent organisational skills
Exceptional knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Ability to communicate and display professionalism at all levels
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to adjust priorities if/when urgent matters arise
We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence working across multiple systems and processes. Previous experience with MPAN administration or electricity industry processes, including dataflows, registrations or market systems, would be highly beneficial. Experience in water or other utility areas would be an advantage, but this can be developed with training for the right candidate.
