Powering up skills: Learning at Work Week at Leep
We know that growth doesn’t just happen – it’s built. That’s why we’re committed to giving our people the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to excel in their roles and achieve their career ambitions. Whether it’s mastering the demands of a current position or preparing for the next step on the ladder, we make learning a priority.
We also know that some of the best learning happens when colleagues share their expertise. Knowledge, best practice, and guidance flow through our business every day – and Learning at Work Week is a fantastic opportunity to supercharge that exchange.
A Week of diverse learning opportunities
This year’s programme reflected the wide range of skills and expertise across our teams. Sessions included:
- A deep dive into our business structure and how our units work together to deliver our mission and vision.
- Practical know-how with workshops on building budgets, Excel tips and tricks, and a “Heat Networks and Heat Pumps 101.”
- A thought-provoking session on invisible disabilities – exploring their impact and how to create a supportive, inclusive workplace.
- Behind-the-scenes tours of our MediaCityUK energy centre, giving colleagues a close-up look at our infrastructure in action.
No matter the role or background, there was something to inspire curiosity and build capability for all.
More than just a week
While Learning at Work Week is a highlight in our calendar, it’s only part of our year-round approach to growth. From Toolbox Talks to presentations on online security, GDPR, and workplace safety, continuous improvement is part of our culture – not just a once-a-year event.
